Taisetsu na Koto wa Subete Kimi ga Oshiete Kureta

Hey Everyone!

So, I finsihed another drama just now called Taisetsu na Koto wa Subete Kimi ga Oshiete Kureta. It was a very dramatic drama, that I sort of fast forwarded near the beginning. The drama was mainly about the relationship between Shuji and Natsumi. The two are seen to be engaged at the beginning of the drama, and both are teachers at the same school. But the first scene actually involved Shuji waking up to find a girl in his bed (not Natsumi) and later realizes that the girl was a student! He actually could not remember what happened that night, so he believed Hikari (the girl) when she told him that he had sex with her. Eventually, Hikari blackmails Shuji and tries to break the two apart. She does succeed, but not because he slept with her (which he did not), but because he was always so defensive when it came to Hikari. The school does find out about the incident, but before Shuji is punished, Hikari confesses that she had sex with someone else, and then stayed at Shuji's without him knowning she was there. Shuji does get suspended and Natsumi cancelled the engagement as well because she though he was falling for Hikari. However, Natsumi realized she was pregnant, and decided to keep the baby. When Shuji returned from his suspension (6 months), he still decided to put Hikari first and did not go back to Natsumi even after finding out about the pregnancy (she did say she would raise the baby on her own - she did not want him back just because of the baby). She then meets another guy that was willing to be with her because he is infertile. But in the end, Shuji tells Hikari that he does not see her as a woman, and that he does not love her. He then meets with Natsumi and they both confess their love for each other. The baby girl is born and the two live together happily. It was a good drama to watch, but the dramaticness was a bit much for me. In particularly because I am not used to seeing the actress playing Hikari in such a villanous (well beginning) role since I watched Asuko March! first. Anyways, overall it was a good drama and worth a watch because it does explain that trust and patience in a relationship is very important. I give this drama a 4.5 out of 5 stars because the story was a bit predictable, though it had me on my toes for which girl he would pick. I was on team Natsumi, but at times I thought he was actually falling for Hikari. But again, you don't realize what you have until you lose it. He realized the hard way. That's it for now.

I'm off,

- B
